This study details a workshop based on a game designed to raise awareness about environmental sustainability, ecology, and nature conservation while fostering creative thinking in secondary school students. Set to involve 20-30 students in February, the workshop uses a game format where participants compete in teams of two, with each teammate taking on different roles. One participant navigates a maze by answering questions on sustainability and global citizenship, while the other addresses environmental problems at a “Problem Solving Wall,” using clues to solve issues like water pollution or waste management. The progress of the teammate in the maze depends on the problem-solving skills of their partner. The workshop aims to assess how well the game mechanics and storyline enhance participants’ conservation awareness. Student feedback will provide insights into the effectiveness of the game in communicating environmental themes, which will help refine the experience for greater impact, including potential adult engagement. The problem-solving challenges will focus on themes such as air, water, soil, and light pollution, with plans for further revisions.
