Trainer
I was born and raised in New York City, but have called the Republic of Moldova, Romania, India, Spain, and Germany home over the past 9 years.
My passion for experiential learning and non-formal education began when I served in the Peace Corps in the Republic of Moldova. As a Community and Organizational Development Advisor, my work centered on designing and delivering educational youth leadership, community development, and anti-human trafficking training programs. Later, I was awarded a Fulbright research grant in Romania, where I worked with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to research innovative new methods of human trafficking prevention for at-risk youth. Through these opportunities, I recognized the powerful benefits of experiential learning trainings, a great combination of fun and intensive learning that truly transform individuals.
Since then, I’ve been training all over the world in the topics of: Self-Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Team Building, Life Purpose, Human Rights, Project Management, and other Soft Skills for Personal and Professional Development. I’ve delivered 1,000 training hours to over 2,300 youth, educators, and trainers, in 20 countries across 4 continents. I also taught an independent study course, “Emotional Intelligence based Leadership” at Brown University during the Spring 2018 semester.
I am certified in Experiential Learning Theory and Practice by David Kolb, Alice Kolb, and Kay Peterson by the Institute of Experiential Learning in the United States and am certified in Experiential Critical Pedagogy / Pedagogy of the Oppressed by the International Experiential Learning Network (IELN) in Europe. I’ve found my life purpose in empowering individuals to harness their own potential through experiential learning.
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have. I welcome the opportunity to connect with you!
